Grand Canyon of the South

(Linville Gorge)

If you have never seen Linville Gorge, be prepared to be awestruck
by some of the most magnificent scenery eastern America has to offer.
One of the filmsites of the movie Last of the Mohicans, Linville Gorge
is a land of grand rock formations, cliffs, caves and falling water.
From Wiseman's View, you get a sense of the scale of the mountains like nowhere else.
(In our opinion, this is the highest energy spot in the Southern Appalachian mountains.)

Enjoy vast panoramas of the mountains on the hour-long trip to the Gorge.

Hike a brief distance to Linville Falls, perhaps the mightiest of all waterfalls in the Blue Ridge Mountains.

We'll do ceremony and meditate at Wiseman's View, presided over by Hawksbill Peak and Table Rock Mountain.

Our picnic site is right on the rushing Linville River.

We'll marvel in the 360 degree view for many miles at the top of Table Rock Mountain.
